About:
In creating this artwork, my main focus was on showcasing my skills as a Graphic Designer. This emphasis greatly influenced the design, resulting in a piece with various aspects and layers. Initially, I crafted the design in Illustrator as a poster, incorporating multiple layers and lines. The base layer of the background consists of intersecting lines of varying thickness. To enhance the dynamic nature of the weaving lines, I utilized different colors. I then overlaid an organic-shaped block of color and applied a gradient filter. Solid, non-transparent colors were used to establish a focal point. The color palette chosen was inspired by nature and its connection to the artwork, with bright, vibrant hues accentuating the flower. This deliberate choice allows viewers to easily distinguish between the foreground and background.
